First, log into EBX.Manager with an administrator profile.
EBX.Manager default localization and session timeout
EBX.Manager user session default locale and duration can be customized.
Select the Reference Branch and select the EBX.Manager root adaptation and navigate in the parameters tree.

Access restriction to EBX.Manager
Access to EBX.Manager can be restricted:
-
to administrators only,
-
to some IP adresses,
-
to prevent a user from opening different http sessions.
Note (EBX.Platform limitation): A defined restriction will be taken into account only for http sessions that are different from the one used for defining this restriction.
Access restriction to EBX.Manager for administrators only
It is possible to define access restriction to EBX.Manager. Select the Reference Branch and select the EBX.Manager root adaptation and navigate in the parameters tree.
You can restrict EBX.Manager access to administrators only.
Adaptation Data Model / Status

This "Unavailability message" will be displayed to all non-administrator user.
Access restriction to EBX.Manager on IP addresses
To restrict access to EBX.Manager, navigate to:

EBX.Manager Unique session control
You can force EBX.Manager to accept only one user session for a given user. For that, edit the parameter: "Unique session control" (see above).
EBX.Manager Ergonomics & behavior policy
The node Adaptation Data Model / Ergonomics & behavior policy allows you to edit:

nodes details display
-
maximum number of elements to display
-
service extensions details display
-
tree behavior on update
-
advanced input component display
-
etc.

Creation of a new actor on EBX.Platform
Select the Reference Branch, then select ebx-directory . You now have access to EBX.Platform Directory.
Directory contains two tables:
-
Roles
-
Users
To create an actor, edit one of the two tables.
System information
Click on the ADMINISTRATE link at the top right corner and then on System information link. This option displays the EBX.Platform configuration and runtime environment.
Users sessions
Click on the ADMINISTRATE link at the top right corner and then on Users sessions link. This option displays the list of active user sessions on EBX.Platform.
You can delete user sessions with the red button.
Schemas and modules
Click on the ADMINISTRATE link at the top right corner and then on Schemas and modules link. This option displays the adaptation models and EBX.Platform modules detected on the current EBX.Platform instance.
Each module can be compiled with the link validate module now .
Click on [+] xml schemas and then on the target schema in the list. The link validate schema now enables you to validate the target schema.
Branch & version: purge & reopen
Click on the ADMINISTRATE link at the top right corner and then on repository. link. This option displays all the closed branchs and versions.
Click on the available buttons to:
-
purge a closed branch or version from the persistent store.
-
or reopen a closed branch or version.
Note: reopen a merged branch should be used with caution, as all its content will appear as a conflict when trying to merge this branch again.
