EBX.Platform services allow to integrate Master Data with your Information System. They provide import/export features and integration with a third party tools, such as EAI, ETL, ESB, directories. Customized MDM services can be developed using a standard Java API.

Documentation outline

Five parts describe the present software: Installation, Models, Engine&Repository, Manager , and Services . These parts are classified, according to their themes, as follows:

  1. "Installation" and "Engine&Repository" parts illustrate different tasks related to installation, configuration, administration and permissions management. These parts correspond to an administrator view of the software.

  2. "Models" and "Services" parts aim at describing Master Data modelling and usages: definitions, programmatic features (constraints, filters, import/export services, UI services, ...) and so on. Hence, "Models" and "Services" parts correspond to a developer view of the software.

  3. "Manager" part presents product functionalities: updates, search, filters, views, and so on. It corresponds to a user view of the software.

Moreover, a tutorial is provided with this documentation. This tutorial describes some key functionalities of the Master Data tool management.
